Cat & Kitten Diet

KITTEN FEEDING SCHEDULE
@ 6 weeks 3 x daily
@ 6 months 2 x daily

Goats milk, eggs, cottage cheese.
Cooked millet, couscous, polenta, brown rice, quinoa.
Minced raw beef heart, cooked minced chicken, VERY SMALL piece raw liver weekly (size of little fingernail), minced veal,
SMALL piece of cooked kidney, raw minced rabbit.
tsp fresh vegetables (cooked and mashed) — kumara, greens, broccoli, carrots, pumpkin etc. or jar of organic baby food
  vegetables.
Fish - canned (in spring water only) sardines, mackerel, or fresh (may be cooked).
¼ tsp Omega Blend Oils (preferably with Borage oil added) once a week.
¼ tsp Flee Flea daily.

As kitten becomes older an uncooked small chicken neck or small bone can be added for chewing. A great alternative to bones are our Venison / Heart dried Chews.

ADULT CAT FEEDING SCHEDULE
@ 1 year 2 x daily MAX.

NO grazing; food should be left down for max 15 minutes only, NOT all day.
As above with chicken necks, carcases, steak & kidney.
Increase Omega’s to ½ tsp and Flee Flea to ½ tsp.
Liver can be increased to 2-3 times weekly but NO more.
Dried food (no matter what variety or ‘specialist only’) leads to dental decay, kidney failure, and many other premature-
  ageing diseases.
Canned kitten / cat food is high in salt and sugar.
Keep food organic and fresh. It is an investment in the health and life of your cat.
